Lyn originally trained as an Occupational Therapist. She is a graduate of the Perth Institute and is a graduate of GATLA's European Programme. She currently works in private practice as a psychotherapist. Lyn also has many years experience working in the public health psychiatric area, with groups and individuals.

TRISH FLOWER Psychotherapist & Counsellor
Trish trained as an Occupational Therapist, graduating in 1983. She is a graduate of the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Perth. Her career experience includes work in psychiatric settings, suicide intervention, school and community counselling, organisational change and clinical supervision. She has a private counselling and psychotherapy practice in Dunsborough.
KEN YEO, B.SC (OT), Member OTA, Occupational Therapist & Psychotherapist
Ken Yeo was raised in Singapore. He graduated from Curtin University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. Since then he has worked for the Health Department of Western Australia in the area of Mental Health & Psychiatry, both rurally and in Perth since 2002. He currently coordinates a psychiatric rehabilitation service as a Senior Occupational Therapist with a focus on experiential learning. He is a graduate of GTIWA.
Mary-Jo Duffy: B Psych, M Psych, MAPS, GANZ. Counselling & Clinical Psychologist
Mary-Jo did her undergraduate at UWA and post graduate at Curtin University. She has a specialist title Counselling Psychologist and is a member of the APS college of Clinical Psychologists. Over a period of 30 years she has worked in a number of settings including adolescent mental health and within organizations. She currently works in private practice in the south west and she is a graduate of GTIWA.

BRENDA LEVIEN NZRN, Dip G Psych, MNZAC, MNZAP, College Member GANZ has 30 years experience working in health and community based organisations and has a private practice in Christchurch. She is the Director of the Gestalt Institute of New Zealand. Brenda is a past President of GANZ, having been a member of its Council from since 1996. In 2006 she was made a fellow of GANZ. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Gestalt Journal of Australia and New Zealand.
MICHAEL REED, BSW, MSW, PhD. trained as a Social Worker in Israel and as a Psychologist in Australia. He was a trainer with the Illawara Gestalt Centre, for a number of years.and is now a Co-Director of Gestalt Therapy Associates (Sydney). Michael was the Chief Psychologist at a large children's hospital in Sydney for many years, and he now has a private practice. He was the inaugural chairperson of GANZ and the Convenor of the GANZ 2004 Conference in Sydney.
ALAN MEARA BSc, BA, Bcomm (Hons), MGT, College Member GANZ completed his Gestalt training in Australia in 1991 and is also certified by Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles (GATLA). He has been involved in teaching Gestalt since 1992 and was the Director of Training at GAQI in Brisbane from 1999-2004. Alan has been GANZ President since 2004. He is particularly interested in group dynamics. He practices both as a therapist and human resource consultant and trainer.
GABE PHILLIPS, PhD is a graduate of the Melbourne and San Diego Gestalt Institutes. He is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice and a Co-Director of Gestalt Therapy Australia, in Melbourne. He is particularly interested in Gay/Lesbian issues and has published extensively on AIDS/HIV counselling issues.
RHONDA GIBSON LONG BSc, DipEd, DipTESOL, College Member GANZ graduated from Sydney Gestalt Institute in 1993 and is C0-Director of Sydney Gestalt Institute. She runs a full time psychotherapy practice. Rhonda also has extensive experience in Adult Education and school counseling, and is interested in expanding methodologies used to train adults. After studying Buddhism philosophy and meditation techniques in India she has a special interest in spiritual approaches to Gestalt.
PHIL OLDFIELD BSoc, College Member GANZ has been a Gestalt Trainer since 1986 and is a Co-Director of Gestalt Institute Sydney. He works in private practice in Sydney. Phil conducts training programs for government departments, hospitals, community organizations and businesses. He is particularly interested in gay and lesbian health and relationship issues, sexuality and the impact of HIV on our communities.
YARO STARAK MSW trained as a Psychologist, Social Work Educator, and Gestalt Therapist in Canada. He established and directed the Brisbane Gestalt Centre in 1979. He is a visiting trainer for several Australian Gestalt Therapy Institutes, as well as in Europe and Canada and worked for many years lecturing in the School of Social Work & Social Policy at the University of Queensland.
